Dr. Ken Siegel

Kenneth N. Siegel, Ph.D., A.B.P.P. is President of The Impact Group, Inc., a Los Angeles based group of Psychologists who consult to Management. Dr. Siegel received his B.A. degree (with honors) in Psychology and Sociology from Rutgers University in 1974. He went on to complete his Masters Degree and his Ph.D. Degree at the University of Southern California, specializing in the area of social psychology. Dr. Siegel taught many classes as a teaching assistant during his graduate school years and did extensive research in self-consciousness and its effects on behavior. Dr. Siegel completed a Post-Doctoral Internship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Wright Institute, Los Angeles. The analytic and clinical skills he acquired at the Wright Institute have extensive applicability to consulting with senior executives. Dr. Siegel also qualified as a Board Certified Diplomat in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and is licensed as a Psychologist by the State of California. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, The American Sociological Association, The California State Psychological Association, and other professional groups.

Over the past twenty years, Dr. Siegel has provided management consulting services to a broad array of multi-national corporations. He has lectured throughout the world in his specialty areas of leadership development, cultural clarity, strategic alignment, team enhancement, management development, conflict resolution, and executive coaching. He has worked extensively in the services sector, electronics, distribution, retail, manufacturing, and medical-related industries, and was recently (2005) acknowledged as one of “The top 50 coaches in America” in The Art & Practice Of Leadership Coaching – 50 Top Executive Coaches Reveal Their Secrets, edited by Howard Morgan, Phil Harkins & Marshall Goldsmith and is the author of So… You Call Yourself A Leader. He is married with three children and enjoys tennis, running and eating… but not necessarily in that order.

Sam Alibrando

Sam Alibrando, Ph.D. works with organizations and senior executives coping with critical business challenges and focusing on change management initiatives, interpersonal challenges, team coherence, and psychological/functional transitions. He leads targeted high-impact workshops on leadership development, personal accountability and enhancing people-process within teams and organizations. He also has solid experience in executive assessment & development, culture assessment and enhancement, executive assessment & development, culture assessment and enhancement, executive selection, and team building and organizational enrichment.

Dr. Alibrando started his career as a clinical psychologist, with interest in leadership and organizational development leading him first to leadership positions he assumed himself: he was Director of the Fuller Psychological & Family Services, and he is currently a member of the Psychological Healthy Workplace Awards committee sponsored by the American Psychological Association.

A frequent and respected lecturer and seminar leader, Dr. Alibrando’s seminal work on change processes is capped by his book, Follow the Yellow Brick Road: How to Change for the Better When Life Gives You it Worst. His is currently completing a second book on emotional intelligence (Working title: The Three Dimensions of Emotional Intelligence: Find the Balance of Power, Heart, and Mindfulness).

He has conducted workshops for or consulted with leaders or teams from AECOM, American Red Cross, Amgen, Coca Cola Bottling, Diversified Maintenance Service, Farmers Insurance, Fox Networks, Veolia Transportation and other firms.

Dr. Alibrando received his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, and his doctorate from the Rosemead School of Psychology. He is an Assistant Professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and was an Associated Clinical Professor at Fuller’s Graduate School of Psychology in Pasadena, California. Sam now lives with his family in lovely Pasadena.
